So you have been married.  You have been through the whole process from hen dos and stag dos, finding your chief bridesmaid to finding your best man.  You have been up the alter and said your vows and then you both did your speeches from thank you to goodbyes.  You have been on your honeymoons and then arrived home.  And for some people it has been 20 years since you were married and other people it has been just 1 year.

Paper – You could maybe buy a lucky lottery ticket or give them some toilet paper..  Just use your imagination

Tin – You could buy your other half a tin of beans or a tin necklace or anything that is made out of tin

China – So you have reached the twentieth milestone.  There are a few things you could buy for china.  You could buy a china dinning set or maybe some Chinese dish clothes it really is up to you.

Silver – This milestone is a quarter to the way to 100 years.  Silver can be bought as anything such as a silver necklace or a silver ring or even silver earrings or you could just buy the whole set!

Pearl – 30 Years have gone by.  It is time to show how much you love your partner, and, you can do this by purchasing something that is pearl such as the obvious pearl earrings

Ruby – 40 Years is a long time to be married for and hopefully all is going well.  Ruby is a dark red colour and every woman would love to have a ruby ring on their finger to add to their collection

Gold – fifty years has passed and you are not getting any younger.  Celebrate by getting your partner a piece of jewellery, they will inevitably be happy!

Diamond – The time has come where you lose all of your savings by splashing out on a ten carat diamond but you love them so you would do anything for them!

All in all when choosing an anniversary gift is not just about the cost but about the thought as well!
